We’ve compiled a list of the most Frequently Asked Questions about Meetings & Events and have provided both below. If there’s a question you have that’s not listed, please let us know and we’ll be happy to provide helpful information.


WHAT ARE YOUR RATES & AVAILABILITY?
Our meeting rooms, studio, and Library are available to rent by the room on Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm. Book by the hour, half-day or full-day, book one room or book them all, with incentives for multi-day and multi-room bookings. Additional fees may apply for staffing and cleaning for after-hours/weekend events, and for events with more than 20+ guests. Please inquire about our meeting room rates & availability and we will get back to you ASAP.

Constellations is also available to rent before & after-hours and on the weekends for all manner of private events, from intimate cocktails parties and micro weddings, to readings, talks, baby showers, and milestone celebrations. Please inquire about our private event packages & availability and we will get back to you ASAP.

SOUNDS GREAT, HOW DO I BOOK?
Once you’re ready to book, we’ll send over a short rental agreement for your review and signature, along with a Welcome Guide that includes all the details you’ll need to prepare for a happy and successful meeting or event. Have questions as you’re planning? We’re here for you.

Please note we require you to make a site visit (in person or virtually!) before you book for an event rental. 

DO YOU PROVIDE PARKING?
There is a paid parking lot in between our building and the Auburn Avenue Research Library. There's also metered parking along Auburn Avenue in front of the building with a 4-hour maximum time limit; we recommend getting the Park Mobile App so you can easily pay and extend times if need be. The MARTA stops closest to us are Georgia State (0.3 miles) and Peachtree Center

HOW WILL I ACCESS THE BUILDING?
Our front door remains locked 24/7, but we will buzz you in and meet you in the Welcome Lobby upstairs. We will happily buzz in your meeting attendees throughout the day. For larger events, we encourage you to have a member of your team stationed downstairs at the front door to greet attendees and direct them to the proper meeting or event space. 

DO YOU PROVIDE COFFEE?
You and your guests are welcome to enjoy our unlimited drop coffee for an additional fee.

DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGES?
Yes, we do allow outside food & beverage, including catering or restaurant delivery. We are happy to provide you with our list of favorites upon booking. Planning a happy hour or social gathering and want to bring in beer & wine? That’s OK, as long as you are not hosting a cash bar and provide the required insurance.

WILL YOU PROVIDE WI-FI ACCESS?
Our Wi-Fi is fiber-fast, and free to our tenants and guests. Network & password will be provided in your Welcome Guide.

CAN I MIRROR MY DEVICE ONTO YOUR FLATSCREEN MONITORS?
Yes, and we’re happy to walk you through the set-up. We’ll check in with you so we know what your A/V needs are advance so there are no surprises the day-of.

DO YOU HAVE A PODCAST STUDIO?
YES, we have a podcast studio! Honoring Civil Rights icon Congressman John Lewis and the community he has proudly served since 1987, 5th District Studio is a wonderful spot for you to create. This warm, inviting, and professional environment is perfect for creating original content, capturing oral histories, recording voice overs, audio books, comedy routines, interviews, meetings and any other audio adventure you can dream up. Also, any audio that is recorded can be transcribed and used for meeting notes, whitepapers, research, books, and much more.

If you'd like to add the studio to your meeting/event rental during your time at Constellations, please connect with us no later than 48 hours before your meeting date.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

  • Disposable plates, napkins, utensils, etc.


DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL RULES WE NEED TO FOLLOW?

Yes, but nothing out of the ordinary. We’ll provide a short list of “rules” when you have your event.


DO YOU PROVIDE PRINTING?
In our Work Center you'll find a multi-function copier/scanner/printer for your use. B&W copies are $0.08 per sheet and color copies are $0.50 per sheet. Please discuss any printing needs with us and we’ll assist.

ALONG WITH THE SPACE WE RENT, CAN WE USE THE SHARED SPACES AT CONSTELLATIONS?
You are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to utilize our community spaces while you’re here, including our Big Banquette, Welcome Lobby, Milky Way Coffee Bar and North Star Library. We just ask that you be respectful of our members’ time and space, and we will require the same of them. Please note that there is no cell phone use in our shared spaces. To take a call, kindly step into one of our private phone rooms.

DO YOU HAVE A KITCHEN?
Our kitchen has a pellet ice maker, fridge, tea kettle, dishwasher and microwave and you are welcome to access them all while you are here. We do not have a stove or oven.

I’M COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN. DO YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON PLACES TO STAY?
We’re happy to recommend places, as well as where to get the best fried chicken, donuts, or Szechuan food, fun and cultural activities, things to see, neighborhoods to visit, places to drink, and more.
